As well as working on international projects on a daily basis, Asteri actively promotes international experience within the team and links with the US.

In July this year, a Lithuanian-American student from the Lithuanian American Community took part in the LISS (Lithuanian Iseivijos Studentus Internship) programme.
About the LISS programme
LISS is a 5-week programme that gives Lithuanian-American and Lithuanian-Canadian students the opportunity to intern in Lithuanian companies according to their professional path, to improve their knowledge of the Lithuanian language, and to get to know the Lithuanian culture and business environment better.
Participants become official students of Vilnius University, signing a tripartite internship agreement between VU, the student and the company.
The aim of this programme is to bring Lithuanian expatriate students closer to Lithuania by giving them the opportunity not only to do internships in Lithuanian companies, but also to deepen their knowledge of the Lithuanian language, culture and everyday life in Lithuania.
Each year, a group of several dozen students from the USA and Canada participate in the LISS programme. During their professional internships in various companies, they also actively participate in cultural events, meet politicians and business leaders, and travel around Lithuania.
This summer, 35 students interned in Lithuania, and Vidas Sasnauskas, a second-year student at The Ohio State University studying marketing and business, interned with Asteri.
Why is this important to us?
Asteri’s goal is not only to grow brands in the international market, but also to build bridges between Lithuania and the world. Vidas, who interned in our team, not only deepened his marketing knowledge, but also enriched the team with an American approach and insights into the North American market.
Thanks to such exchanges, Asteri is expanding its international relations, strengthening competences and contributing to the image of Lithuania as a global talent space.
